Yeah. It supports Diaspora and also between ActivityPub-based platforms, it seems to be leading.

@Anders Rytter Hansen It truly seems to be the Facebook of the Fediverse so to say. Not by it's numbers, but due to it's versatility.

It's also one of the oldest, I think, the Wikipedia page says it's there since 2010, which is soooo long ago, omg.

Imo, I am glad Friendica exists, not only as a Fediverse platform, but also as a place on the Internet in general. It really is like almost nothing else.

Yeah. I have known the name Friendica for a long time along with Diaspora but to me it's like Mastodon popped up out of nowhere this year and I'm like where did that come from? I was searching for fediverse software in the past but never found Mastodon and it's supposedly been here since 2015.

Friendica hasn't always supported activitypub. It used to have its own protocol

@Anders Rytter Hansen wow, interesting. Friendica really is its own thing. I wanted to join Diaspora as well, but I did not know how the federation thing works and I remember I couldn't log in to the main server. Later last summer, I was looking for a Fediverse platform similar to Facebook and here I am 😁
