HTTP traffic on my #diaspora node of the last 7 days.

Pretty much all of that is AI crawlers. My usual traffic from humans is <2req/s. The waste of resources on this is absolutely bonkers.

I hate to say it, but in the face of AI crawlers, running infrastructure "for public good" is becoming pretty much impossible. Fuck GenAI companies, Fuck GenAI users, Fuck everyone even remotely related to this tech, and it all burns down soon. I'm tired.
