!Friendica Support Dumb question: I then and now receive "personal" messages (sent from Mastodon with that "DM" / "@" feature, only visible to mentioned accounts). I can see them while accessing a Friendica account from some app like Tusky or AndStatus, but ... how on earth do I see them in the Friendica web interface? It's apparently not the "direct messages" feature, but ... where else? Am I missing something totally obvious here...?

AFAIK there is no way for Friendica to recognize those postings as "DM"s so they are part of the general network stream.

@Tobias Hmmm, ok. Is there a particular way to filter this out then? And, most notably: Would it be "good" to somehow synchronize this with the friendica "direct message" view? Within the #fediverse, these two things feel somehow redundant or conflicting in the way they are done....?
