About 6 months ago the cheapest weed I could get was $35 an ⅛ but now I'm paying $30 a ¼.

Weed is literally the only thing I've seen to go down in price

I try not to be one of those "weed is a wonder drug" guys but holy shit it actually is. I have ADHD and chronic pain and it helps both.

same. It also increased my T levels.

It just kind of treated everything I was taking prescriptions for better than the medication I was taking.

>my state's red as a donkey hemorrhoid

I live in Mississippi. We're the reason abortion is now illegal in some states. We're probably the reddist state but we still have weed here.

in red states you can just walk into weed stores and buy edible delta 8 and delta 9 these days, no one gives two shits
Delta-9 THC is what is found in normal weed. Delta-8 is found in lower concentrations in both weed and hemp, and has been used to skirt around THC regulations in the past that only cover Delta-9. I'm guessing some jurisdictions have passed laws to cover all of it now.

we have a fuck tonne of fiber running to people with septic tanks now. Live in the middle of nowhere around these parts where even cell service is spotty? You can still probably get fiber to the home.

I have better DSL than the town that is our county seat... Not that it's great. Still think that's funny bc I am in the middle of nowhere.

I dream of fiber sometimes though

my parents live in a city with 2 stoplights. The nearest Walmart is over 50 miles away. It takes driving away from town for 30 minutes to reach the nearest interstate exist. It's also the largest town in the county. Despite that they still have gigabit fiber to the home.
for a state stereotyped for being dumb rednecks they have some fucking great medical programs, pharmacy too. @Cosmic @Hoss @nordtrack @s8n
this fiber network was built in just a few years. This is what happens when tax money actually goes where it's supposed to go instead of lining the pockets of politicians and their friends.

yeah a few years ago when the fed was giving out free money to build better interest infrastructure in rural areas we took that money and ran fiber all through the boonies. Crazy concept in government I know but we actually used the money and didn't squander it.

Look at this fiber map by a local electric cooperative. For a sense of scale Laurel and Waynesboro are about 30 miles apart. Anywhere in that yellow you can get gigabit fiber to the home.

we have a housing crisis and people are starving but sure let's send money to Ukraine and Israel and more military spending @sjw @Jonaschuzzlewit @Cosmic @s8n @Hoss
I don't think it's as rock solid as you think it is. Sure you probably can't increase it much, maybe a point or two, but that's still significant. @sjw @Jonaschuzzlewit @nordtrack @Hoss
I scored a 100 on the only official proctored IQ test I ever took as a child.
I know I score horribly on them because I am dogshit at puzzles.
@sjw @Hoss
enable your natural bi-phasic sleep (if your timeframes allow it), it's natural to have the first and the second sleep in the night and a ~~2 hour calm yet YEAH LETS GO period inbetween
>wakes up suddenly
>sudden burst of motivation and creativity on some inane and complex subject
>3:45am
>go to sleep
>feeling is gone
I cannot describe how annoying this is
@sjw @s8n
Must suck when you get your smart hour during your sleeping hours.

me most of the time except I'm blindingly intelligent for 1hr (non-consecutive) every day. I do not choose when that hour happens, it just appears. @sjw @s8n

@Hoss @baraposter @s8n if i set my phone alarm every 5 minutes, and fall asleep repeatedly between those 5 minutes, then after the 3rd or 5th time or so, ill instantly enter dream-REM sleep and can constantly reset it with each alarm for a hour +

step 1: go to sleep normal, set alarm for 6 hours later, sleep only 5-6 hours
step 2: alarm -> snooze 5 mins -> fall asleep in 30 seconds -> ~~4 minutes of dreamsleep -> GOTO step 2

sometimes if i have a "nap" in the day ill instantly hit REM, but this only happens if im DEAD tired (24+ hours awake in a row)

I've always wanted to train my body to instantly go into REM sleep (the only sleep that actually matters), but I'm not disciplined enough to do it.
