I've become a fan of "Pepper & Carrot" recently, an online comic, fully licensed under the "Creative Commons." The author is a French gentelman named David Revoy, and publishes the Krita source files for each episode.

I have been trying to create a Pepper & Carrot adventure game using the Snap! programming language for my kids, and it is nice having an abundance of quality free/libre artwork to use as game assets.
