I think that's a bit closer than I've ever been. Once when I lived near the top of a hill, in an apartment on the first floor of our building, lightning struck about 100 feet away. Super loud, and the fluorescent lights in the apartment, even though they were off, flickered with the lightning. EM pulse, I suppose.
