Out of curiosity, why can't A/V files be uploaded to Friendica? Seeing how images are handled, it seems like it should be able to do it.

You can upload them. But you have to switch to the file upload and size limits apply.

Yes, its an old system, my host seems to have died/is dying, anyone know of anyone other than Elastio offering hosted Friendica instances?
