David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet | Netflix Official Site

A broadcaster recounts his life, and the evolutionary history of life on Earth, to grieve the loss of wild places and offer a vision for the future.

Seen "David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet" on Netflix yet?

The canonical url is :

What comes after the « ? » isn’t necessary afaik, and the « trkid » name suggests it is a #tracker identifier. Facebook uses this, Spotify too. I don’t know what they do with it, as it works like a black box to the public, but it could help profile you and everyone who uses this link, e.g. by registering a connection between two users.

@Norz
I'll have to check that out... We're always under surveillance...
@Norz
@João Pinheiro Yes, online, it seems so... 😏 #DatenKraken :octopus

Imho the problem is that it not just a bit of tracking to show relevant ads on one site, but massive tracking everywhere, with data aggregation across millions of sources... They even do offline tracking now. 😬
@João Pinheiro E.g. :
- #RTBF, one major Belgian news :newspaper service, which is even a public service, shares your data iirc with around 300 “partners“...
- a major mobile video game 🎮 shares your data with 500 “partners”...

#Spotify or #Netflix shouldn’t share data of their paying customers, but I guess you have no choice, it’s either their way or the highway...
