With the [summary=mastodon]…[/summary] BBCode tag. It won’t work on Friendica nodes however, since it’s a Mastodon-specific feature.
Thank you! I'm puzzled by it not being displayed on Friendica. I see a lot of posts from Mastodon with the CW tag, correctly displayed on Friendica. OK, I'll just try and see how it works.
Hmmm... it looks like what in the abstract that isn't displayed. Not quite there yet. I'll keep trying.
So, the trick is that by default in Friendica we do format Mastodon/Pleroma inbound CW posts the way Mastodon users expect it. This behavior can be changed, the CW becomes a title and the post isn’t collapsed. We also allow Friendica users to have an exception for Mastdon/Pleroma outbound posts with the abstract BBCode tag.

But deep down it is a fundamental philosophical difference between Mastodon/Pleroma and Friendica: we support recipient filters, not author filters, meaning that post display is controlled by each individual recipient, not the sender. We believe it is important to give this agency to Friendica users, but we also recognize that we are in a federated environment, so we allow some exceptions for certain remote systems.
