How is an impoverished school system supposed to replace most of its hardware to suit Windows 11, anyway? Just forget it and teach the basics with earlier versions of Windows - or better yet, get the kids ready for Unix with Linux!
@amitabha_buddha Companies are going to do whatever is least expensive for them, if using open source software and providing the infrastructure necessary is less expensive than paying for commercial software, that's where they are going to go. It is most efficient for the economy to not have people trained in one or the other but with broader knowledge.
